Home is a place of caring, safety, shared experience and growing where you are a valued individual. This must be why alumni and their family often refer to EAC as home, whether they live down the street from the school or thousands of miles away. This home is built on our four pillars: Academics, Arts, Athletics and Global Citizenship.
Our rigorous academic program, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma, is successful because of caring teachers who nurture the individual strengths of students and are able to identify and address their individual challenges. Like you, these teachers know when a child needs help and when a child needs to be pushed. Academics are important, but EAC seeks to educate the whole child; therefore, Athletics and the Arts connect the body, mind and collective spirit in ways that are fun and creative. But perhaps the most distinctive pillar is Global citizenship. Our beautiful green campus has stimulated student-generated projects in sustainability concerning indigenous plant and wildlife at the school.
Students are expected to become organizers, problem solvers and leaders through our service learning, class projects and science fairs. Tying this all together is development of the heart: empathy and understanding of others in our international environment is a daily part of life at EAC. This is what makes EAC a family.
Welcome to EAC. Welcome home.
